snow and have your first call snow mack in just a few minutes. 6:30 here's angela with traffic. starting to see usual delays out there for you. for this time morning, first, we need to let you know you need to plan to use 197, 50 or 450 instead of crane highway a big serious accident involving a tractor trailer on crane highway shut down between 50 and 450. in the meantime, we are starting to see some of the usual delays crop up southbound 95 at route32. also making the drive on 59 through howard county north of maryland 100 seeing heavy traffic in both directions there. and on the west side of the beltway, at liberty road, starting to see some heavy traffic in the outer loop lanes outer loop delays beginning to pick up. checking the drive times taking you about 8 or 9 minutes on outer loop make the drive from 759 over to i-706789 charley. -- i-70 charley. it's called a cat fight and a woman is facing charges. baltimore city police spoke out

about the issues in the downtown area and sherrie johnson has the latest and we are not making light of this. this is literally based on a fight over a cat. >> reporter: exactly. hard to believe but tensions are flaring there. occupy baltimore is an offshoot of the occupy wall street movement. they are trying to call attention to income equality and a host of other issues. desiree nicholson is charged with aggravated assault. police say that she got into a fight with another woman at the camp at mckeldin square over the weekend. they were fighting about a cat when police records show that nicholson stabbed the woman. the woman was taken to johns hopkins for treatment as police across the country evict certain protesters, authorities here have taken a hands off approach denying permits for using the park. authorities say they would enforce the denial at a time their choice. >> we are not going to comment or give anybody advance notice. when the city gives us the word we will assist in doing that in the most peaceful way possible.

>> reporter: now an organizer with occupy baltimore said the victim and suspect have been staying at the site but she says they are not participants in the greater goals. the protesters have been at mckeldin square for two months. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. today occupy protesters plan to focus attention on the housing crisis. they are going to help families resist eviction from foreclosed homes and also they will take control of vacant properties. it's a part of an effort to give a movement a new focus after the dismantling of their encampments during the past several weeks. and today more seniors displayed from their homes in northwest baltimore are expected to move back. residents are slowly returning to the community after a fire forced them out. the city building inspector released the units to be reoccupied. baltimore city department of recreation and parks is now accepting bids for rec centers. deadline for proposals is january 18th. the city need to do maintenance

an alternate route around the serious tractor trailer accident we have on crane highway. davidsonville road a good alternate route 424. also 450 or 50. even one of those will get you around the closure on route 3 crane highway. in the meantime, looking pretty good on this stretch of 695. but if we did do i-95 at maryland 100 making the drive through howard county. heavy in both directions there. also getting to see heavier delays on the west side of the beltway at liberty road. your outer loop lanes are running slow there. charley. the arrest of a baltimore city man could shed new information in the case of a virginia teen found dead in baltimore back in 2008. abc2 news sherrie johnson joins us live with the new developments and what this could mean for the young lady's family. >> today the parents of annie mccann will meet with detectives to learn more about the case. the arrest of 21-year-old darnel kinlaw for the murder of his girlfriend last month has parents hopeful they will find out what happened to their

daughter. and he ye mccann was found dead in 2008 after running away from her virginia home on halloween. police ruled the death a suicide. but her family never believed it. darnell was never implicated in the death and he and others were charged with taking the teen's volvo discovering the body in the back seat and putting it by dumpsters in southeast baltimore. he was charged with the murder of his girlfriend. police now plan to question him further about mccann's death. >> absolutely. you know w. people are often question them about the involvement -- you know, we, when people are often questioned them about the involvement. we -- >> reporter: the mccanns made it nonthey were not happy with the death investigation of their daughter and blame the city hall and police department. they say all they want is truth and justice.

vote. the automated message assured voters martin o'malley had won the race. and mayor stephanie rawlings-blake will take the oath of office in what's the first full term as baltimore city mayor. corinne redman is live with a preview of what's in store. corinne. >> reporter: well, like you said, mayor stephanie rawlings blake is set to take the first full oath of office here at city hall today. now as you look behind me, you can see all the preps are underway. there are lots of crews that arrived within the last half- hour to set the stage. stage is set here in the center. you can see the bleachers are up and city hall is draped with the city colors and they are flags that line the plaza. now this is the second oath of office for mayor stephanie rawlings blake as you will recall in february 2010 rawlings blake was sworn in after the then mayor sheila dixon resigned after she was convicted on corruption charges. now today, it will be a much different ceremony because this will mark the first elected termfor the mayor. elected officials dignitaries

hilton. robert ehrlich is releasing a book saying it's not meant to create speculation about running for officech he lost the dpiewbtorial election to governor o'malley e works as a lawyer in washington. a new grocery store is set to open tomorrow in locust point. it's a much anticipated harris teeter store. and linda so is live this morning with a preview of what's going to be inside, 61,000 square feet is that right? >> reporter: yeah. it's huge. and it's two stories and it's part of a new development here called mchenry road. you have plenty of stores m and t bank and four story park garage out front and, of course, the haires teeter. later this evening from 5:30 to 8, the store will be hosting a private event called taste of teeter to show community members what they are about. doors officially open to the public tomorrow morning at 8. the ribbon cutting ceremony will happen at 10 in the morning. the store is locate on wet stone way and mchenry road. you probably have seen it from

fantastic for some. will it be enough for others? i know what you are thinking when you hear about the first snow. let's check it out. satellite radar composit on the warm side. warm air mid-50s this morning and we go to the 60s this afternoon and it's rain. look at the cold air and snow all the way down into texas. there's one wave of low pressure along the front enhancing the rainfall. most to the west and north. another storm will develop on the tail end of that boundary. that's the one we are waiting for tomorrow. through tomorrow night, and really enhancing it as it passes by early thursday morning. we enhance it later today and tonight and the rain tomorrow that may show some snow tomorrow afternoon in the mountains to the west and maybe southern p.a. it will be overnight and we ink the transition to snow for all of us and it's out of here by daybreak. i expect a slushy dusting to ionch around the bay. bay temperatures low 40s right now annapolis eastern shore and the grass should be white in the morning. around the i-95 stretch maybe northern ann arunde county including -- anne arundel county including bdi and bel
